This version introduces some really great extras.

You can now download a CSV list of your links and articles which is really useful. Loads of other mall bugs have been fixed, but I have one gripe:

The plugin uses a php library file that includes some php4 functionality that is depracted, or no longer supported by some web hosts. This means that some of the reporting elements don’t work, but the plugin itself still works properly. Although this is annoying it doesn’t affect the performance of the plugin.

I have raised a support ticket and its being investigated.

In the meantime I found a great web host that is NOT affected by this bug called iPage and I strongly recommend them. Add Links

First, you add some links into the network.  These can be links to any affiliate offer you are running, any article or video you are trying to boost, or any website you own.  If you add links to your current blog, ABC Plugin will actually monitor the progress of the keywords you assign to those links in the search engines and it will automatically send you an email report to tell you how they are ranking.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you enter your keywords correctly.  I created a special tool tool to convert keywords from a raw list to ABC ready format. Many users are entering the keywords in the wrong format, which means they will NOT rank for the correct keyword, so they are wasting their time. So use the Convert Keywords tool to get it right”

In the following image, you can see I’ve entered 3 links to 3 pages in this blog along with some spun keywords.

The progress of your keywords is monitored in your ABC Plugin control panel and it emails you a report to tell you how they are ranking in the search engines for each keyword. This function is really brilliant and I’ve never seen this anywhere else!

Set Article Distribution Settings

When you start using the article function, you will want to ensure any articles that appear on your own blog from other members go into an appropriate category and that any you submit into the networ have an appropriate category specified. This is because you will want them to appear on relevant blogs. Set ABC and the WordPress categories in the Article Distribution section. I also suggest you set up a user on your own blog that will be attributed to any articles you publish on your own blog. Just make sure the user has Author permission.

Add Articles

Yes, you can add unlimited articles or blog posts all containing your own links. You can use classic ‘spintax’ as well, so you can create billions of versions of each article by submitting spin ready articles. Some members however, just submit the same article, as they are less worried about duplicate content.

The ABC Plugin control panel reports the number of articles you have submitted, and also the number that you are displaying on your currentl blog.

Install the Widget

In order to display links on your blog, and have your links display around the network, you have to install the ABC Plugin widget. You do this via the Widget area of the current theme you are using in your blog. When you have added the widget to your sidebar, select the appropriate category from the widget category list wheich best matches your own blog category. That will ensure you get relevant links appearing on your blogs.

Set up Indexer URL

Now this is a really exciting setting and this could be a service you would subscribe for on its own. You can specify any root URL in here, but it is usually the URL of the current blog. What this function does is to cycle through a huge list of web services that create dynamic webpages for submitted URLs and they get indexed within minutes by Google. A good example of one opf these services is cubestat.com. This one calculates the value of your site, but there are hundreds of others like this. ABC Plugin submits whatever URL you specify in the field to these services on a cycle basis and the rport section at the top of the ABC Plugin page tells you where it is currently at in the cycle phase for this URL. I love this function as it gives you hundreds of backlinks for no effort at all.

Customer Support

I think when reviewing a new piece of software, it’s important to mention the customer support they have in place.  The owner of the ABC3K Plugin is called Greg and he heads a small development team that offer outstanding customer service.  I have emailed Greg about a few things, just to get clarification on some technical issues, and also to make a few suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

I have to say that I get a response to my emails within hours and when you consider I am UK based and Greg is Stateside USA , that is commendable.  So if you have any problems or just get stuck, don’t feel embarrassed, just drop Greg an email and he will probably reply to you in person.  He loves to help.
